The Artemis II Splashdown Oversized Tee captures one of the defining moments of NASA’s return to crewed lunar exploration. Built around the Artemis II homecoming theme, the design gives spaceflight fans a bold way to reference the mission that carried four astronauts around the Moon and safely back to Earth.
NASA’s Artemis II crew completed its journey on April 10, 2026, when the Orion spacecraft made a parachute-assisted splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego. The landing concluded a nearly 10-day mission around the Moon and marked a major milestone for NASA’s Artemis program.
The mission carried NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch alongside Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. Artemis II also served as the first crewed test flight of NASA’s Orion spacecraft and other systems intended to support future lunar missions. NASA provides more detail about the mission sequence, reentry, and recovery in its official Artemis II mission overview.
This oversized tee works especially well for anyone who follows NASA missions, human spaceflight, lunar exploration, rockets, or major moments in space history. The splashdown concept also gives the design a clear mission-completion theme rather than using a generic space graphic.
Wear it as a casual statement piece, add it to a space-themed apparel collection, or give it to someone who followed Artemis II and its journey around the Moon.
The design can also make a timely conversation starter for science fans, astronomy enthusiasts, students, and anyone excited about the next era of lunar exploration.
Celebrate the journey home with the Artemis II Splashdown Oversized Tee and add a piece inspired by modern spaceflight history to your rotation.
