The LA Dodgers And We’re Dinosaurs Shirt captures one of the funniest moments from the Dodgers’ 2026 postseason run.
After Los Angeles advanced to the NLCS, manager Dave Roberts addressed the team during the clubhouse celebration. Teoscar Hernández then jumped in with the line, “And we’re dinosaurs!” The joke quickly caught attention among Dodgers fans. Yahoo Sports covered the clubhouse moment after the series win.
The joke started with San Diego Padres owner José E. Feliciano. He said Dodgers owner Mark Walter “owns a lot of dinosaurs.”
The comment referred to Walter’s interest in dinosaur fossils. However, baseball fans also connected the joke to the Dodgers’ veteran roster. Sports Illustrated explained the original dinosaur comment and the story behind it.
The Dodgers soon embraced the joke instead of ignoring it. That helped turn “dinosaurs” into a playful postseason reference.
This shirt is made for fans who followed the postseason story and understood the dinosaur joke.
The black color keeps the front graphic bold and easy to notice. The design works well for game days, watch parties, or casual outings.
It can also be a fun gift for someone who follows Los Angeles baseball. Fans of playoff moments, sports humor, and viral baseball references may especially enjoy the design.
The phrase blends baseball culture, rivalry humor, and internet conversation into one simple idea.
If the dinosaur moment made you laugh, add the LA Dodgers And We’re Dinosaurs Shirt to your lineup today.
