The My Parents Gave Me The Wrong Tism I Wanted Nepo But I Got Au Shirt turns absurd internet humor into a bold statement design. Built around the joke “I wanted nepo but I got AU,” the phrase mixes nepo-baby humor with autism-related internet slang for a deliberately unexpected punchline.
The “AU” part references autism, formally known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The CDC describes autism spectrum disorder as a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain, with characteristics that can vary significantly from person to person.
The design plays on the idea of wishing you had been born with celebrity connections or family advantages, then flips that expectation into the “wrong tism” joke. The result is a memorable phrase made for people who enjoy sarcastic, self-aware, and intentionally chaotic internet humor.
Rather than making a medical claim, the wording works as meme-style wordplay. For readers who want factual information beyond the joke, the CDC’s autism resources provide current information about ASD, signs, diagnosis, services, and research.
Printed as a front-facing design on black, the phrase stays at the center of the look.
This design may appeal to fans of:
Wear it for casual days, hanging out with friends, campus life, concerts, meme-heavy gatherings, or whenever you want your outfit to carry the joke for you.
It can also make a fun gift idea for a friend who lives online, sends questionable memes at midnight, or appreciates humor that is intentionally weird.
Add the My Parents Gave Me The Wrong Tism I Wanted Nepo But I Got Au Shirt to your rotation and let the punchline speak for itself.
